And somewhere along the way, your own feelings got a little lost.

That's exactly why I created the Chaos to Calm Feelings Wheel.

It's a 9-inch magnetic wheel that does something beautifully simple: it gives feelings a name.

Because when you're in the middle of a dysregulation episode, or sitting with your own overwhelm at the end of a hard day, the words just don't come. You know something is wrong. You know you're struggling. But what are you feeling? That part gets muddy.

The wheel takes you from "I don't know to oh. That's what this is."

And from there, everything gets a little easier to navigate.

I started using it with my daughter, who lives with BPD, CPTSD, panic disorder and depression. Instead of reaching for words neither of us could find in the hard moments, we'd reach for the wheel. Something about pointing at a word, rather than having to produce it from nowhere, took the pressure off completely.

It opened conversations we couldn't have had otherwise.

And then I started using it for myself. Quietly. Just to check in. Just to ask, what am I actually carrying today?

It changed things. Small things. But real things.
