you feel exhausted by the constant ups and downs
you worry you’re saying the wrong thing
you feel stuck between helping and walking on eggshells
you’ve read advice that just doesn’t fit real life
you feel lonely in what you’re carrying
you wish someone actually understood this
you feel like you should know what to do, but you don't
If you nodded at even one of these, you're in the right place.
"I followed your guidance and then stayed quiet. Waited. Then she talked. We sat together for....three hours. Talked, cried, laughed, shared, hugged. And, therapy is on the table again, on her terms. That's a first in almost 4 years. Thank You."

"If you're a parent or carer supporting a young person with BPD or other emotional dysregulation, I highly recommend Sami. She provides a space for parents who are trying to hold it all together."
Susan, on Facebook
"This is wonderful counsel. I've been attempting to give space for my thought reasoning and these steps provide the structure needed to effectively do so. Thank you. ⚓"

Hi, I’m Sami
I created The Harbour because I know how heavy this can feel,
supporting a young adult through emotional storms
while trying to hold yourself together at the same time.
This space is here to help you feel a little more steady in it.

The Harbour is a monthly support membership for mums navigating the reality of emotional dysregulation.
It gives you a calmer, steadier place to come when things feel too much.
There comes a point where you're exhausted from holding everything together.
You're supporting your young adult.
Managing your own emotions.
Trying to make sense of something that often doesn't make sense.
You think carefully about every word.
You second guess yourself.
And still, things can escalate.
If you're honest, it can feel incredibly lonely.
Most people around you simply don't understand.
You haven't got this wrong. You've been carrying something heavy, mostly on your own.

Short, supportive guidance, to help you understand what’s happening and what may help.
A gentle pause, something simple to help you breathe, reset, and feel a little more grounded.
A simple library of grounding tools and practical resources you can come back to whenever things feel overwhelming.
A calm, supportive space with mums who truly understand what this feels like.
A gentle, one-way WhatsApp space from me, sharing reminders, reassurance, and steady support when you need it.
No pressure to reply. Just something to come back to when things feel a bit much.
A space to bring real-life questions and get support around what you’re dealing with.
Monthly expert guidance to help you feel more informed and supported.
Because this isn’t built from theory alone.
It comes from real-life experience, from being in the middle of it,
trying to support someone you love while holding yourself together at the same time.
You won’t be told to “just stay calm” or “set better boundaries” and hope for the best.
Because when you’re in it…
you need something that actually makes sense
and generic advice just does not cut it.
What it is built on:
Honest understanding
Practical support
Space to breathe
And guidance that fits real life
This space has been shaped by lived experience, learning,
and a deep understanding of how hard this can be.
No. The Harbour is guided, practical support from someone who has lived this, plus a community of mums who get it. It sits alongside professional help, not instead of it.
That is very common, and it is exactly why this is for you. You don’t need them to take part for you to feel steadier.
No. The Calm Hub and the guidance work on their own. The community and messages are there when you want them.
Most of it is short, a few minutes at a time, for when life is busy or a moment is hard.
Yes, anytime.

Hi, I’m Sami
I created The Harbour because I know how heavy this can feel,
supporting a young adult through emotional storms
while trying to hold yourself together at the same time.
This space is here to help you feel a little more steady in it.
you feel a little more grounded in difficult moments
you understand what’s happening instead of feeling lost in it
you react less from panic and more from steadiness
you feel more confident in how you respond
you feel less alone in what you’re carrying
you start to find small moments of calm again

You don’t need to have it all figured out before you come in.
You don’t need to be coping well.
You don’t need to be getting it “right”.
You just need somewhere to land.
The Harbour is here to help you feel a little steadier in the storm.
